What are the best Elvis books ever released?

The bibliographic source 'Elvis In Print: The Definitive Reference and Price Guide' has announced twenty titles from its ranking of the 'Top 40 Elvis Books of All-Time'.

Titles in the Best Elvis Books of All-Time are a broad mix of academic releases, serious biographies, photo-journals and books devoted to specific parts of Elvis's life and career.

The titles announced are:

Elvis! Elvis! Elvis! (Japanese Photo Book) The Inner Elvis A Psychological Profile of Elvis Aaron Presley (Peter Whitmer Ph. D.)

Elvis In Print: The Definitive Reference and Price Guide' is the result of more than seven years extensive research and is due for publication in 2005. The book and electronic release will detail more than 3,000 Elvis books and other publications from around the world, provide synopses for more than 2,000 of the listings, a price guide for most listings and full publishing details. Cover pictures for more than 500 of the listings will also be included.

Only a handful of authors have multiple entries in the list. They include Bill Burk, Ernst Jogensen, Peter Guralnick and Ger Rijff.
