Actress, Julie Parrish dies

Actress Julie Parrish, who appeared with Elvis in Paradise, Hawaiian Style has died (October 4, 2004). The cause of death has yet to be announced. This is the official media release from Elvis Presley Enterprises: "Actress Julie Parrish, known for numerous roles in television and film, including her tenure on the popular TV series Beverly Hills 90210 and co-starring with Elvis Presley in Paradise, Hawaiian Style and with Jerry Lewis in The Nutty Professor, died unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon.

In recent years, Julie has participated in Elvis Week events in Memphis, including hosting the Official Elvis Collectors Club conference last August. We mourn the loss of a lovely, lovely friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends in this difficult time."
